Stik item on ebay: fake / real / unsure, by frog on Oct 24, 2012 15:55:27 GMT 1, Quite like Stiks work ( unfortunatly can't afford most of it though ) and spotted this on ebay:
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130788533806?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649
It's a bit different, but something about it is making me think twice before placing a bid. Just wondered what other people thought ?
I have emailed the seller asking where it was signed, but so far not had a reply.

Stik item on ebay: fake / real / unsure, by rottenredrooster on Oct 24, 2012 16:50:53 GMT 1, Yeah it's probably real. The seller is the same guy who slyly manoeuvred himself in the printing process at the Dran Marks & Stencils show.
It really was quite entertaining especially when standing in that book signing queue for over an hour. What was more horrifying was the pocketing of the Dran Bookmarks, later up for sale at several hundred pounds. He started out in the queue, like a normal person. Gradually he started looking at the art, walking in and out of the queue, hovering over the shoulder of Drans Co., eventually he introduced himself to the process, by unnecessarily passing and placing the bookmarks on to the side of the counter which was less than a foot away. He then placed himself up against the guy printing, more or less forcing his way to get a go at the process. After a while he then suggested to the co worker that he felt comfortable enough to take over whilst the worker had a well deserved cigarette break out in the cold snow. During this print production seemed to speed up and also one of his hands was spare most of the time in his pocket.
PS: Also believe the chap likes selling purloined lightbulbs.

Stik item on ebay: fake / real / unsure, by frog on Oct 24, 2012 17:43:37 GMT 1, Some great comments
The price was one thing that was making me think. The way his stuff goes on ebay, to see something sitting at 99p does seem strange.
But then also handy to know that he was actually there.
Wonder if i'll get a reply from the seller ?

Stik item on ebay: fake / real / unsure, by Deleted on Oct 24, 2012 18:08:14 GMT 1, As others have said Stik was about, doodled this for me while I was in the queue with letiss and mikeydread and I'm sure others would have spotted him too.
You are taking a punt but I would assume that this is the real deal.
BWTF do I know eh...

Haha quality. For my part in the case, I can corroborate Mr Speebe1's story.
