i have a box set as well and would have to say that in the box the corners are not perfect. i wonder if everyone had this experience..

The prints slide around in the box during shipping, and as such, have developed soft corners. The damage to the corners will vary from person to person, but I would be very surprised if anyone received 12 dead mint prints.
Basically, the prints are fine, but if you are extremely uptight about everything being perfect, this set isn't for you.

I don't think so. The design of the box is such that it does not allow for the prints to go into or come out of the box without rubbing the corners. It has to do with the way the vinyl is stretched over the box core. I'm sure shipping doesn't help.
