I love these pieces, always have but even at ยฃ500 I have always felt they are over priced.
In what way?? Firstly Jimmys glass work is second to none.. The quality is unreal. Have you actually seen a piece close up??
Each to their own but you cannot pick up something of this quality, handmade for ยฃ500..

To my knowledge, one of the 27 sold for ยฃ1.5k last year and i wouldn't let mine go even at that price so this for me is a steal.

I have always loved these and was twice in talks about buying some back in the Rosa & Jim days but at ยฃ500 I couldn't buy even though I wanted too if that makes any sense ? It's not the fact I'm tight as I have bought more expensive pieces in my time.
Still really like these just Morfx's exclamation marks made me question this price.

Maybe your Charles wasn't marked up properly mandingo. If you explain exactly what it is on the forms I'm sure they let it go through. Plus customs know what they are doing. They know it's not a threat. No wires. No metal detected. No problem. Glass doesn't scan well due to the transparency. A real grenade would scan completely, showing wires, explosive material and all other bits and bobs.

Not mate it entered as a sculpture. Was xrayed open and disposed of . This was by uk customs .
