I've had slots made in the Base to accommodate lighting which I still need to sort, but over the moon on how it turned out!!!! Sorry for the crap pictures... I used a company called Proformes based in Leighton buzzard.. A pleasure to deal with..    
What can I say apart from, superb!!!
This looks amazing Morfx and I'm sure even better when the lights are in place. You have inspired me to up my game re presentation. Bubble wrap days are gone. New pieces will have to come with similar high end wow factor. Many thanks Amigo.

The up-lighter was a bit larger than the base of the grenade so I just used a bit of tin-foil to cover the light and cut a smaller hole in the foil, I have it out on display and always have it switched on in the evenings which gives it a nice glow.... 
Wow... A blast from the past. Looks wonderful 11. Love the creativity you have taken to get this piece lit up so nice. Looking forward to our meet up and a few beers mate.

Mr South - Can you give us an insight into how you create these? I've seen glass work being created many times but I cant imagine you "blow" these the traditional way (see what I did there) It may be obvious to some but i'm stumped.

They are all free blown in the traditional way. Which is done offshore then the blanks are sent to me to carve into and shape all relevant pieces... using upright cutting wheels and flatbed grinders. If they are finished with a pattern like the hearts on 11's version. Then I hand apply a solution then sandblast before washing off and revealing the pattern beneath...
