You don't need anything to return at Ikea. As long as it aint damged they will refund you, even if it is opened. I know because I did it last week!

i once bought a load of stuff from ikea but when i got home and checked the receipt i realised they had scanned an £80 item twice by mistake. i then phoned them and they took my word for it and refunded me over the phone.

If I were you I'd take them to a framer and get them to professionally fit the print, mountboard and perhaps new backing board and maybe spacers & jobs a good un.
