Hindsight is a major B*%?! ehh.. and a reminder to us all....
I remember eyeing up the AB 1&2 which where on the POW site for ages. I really liked them but couldn't justify spending "that much" on a print (£175 ...oh how foolish was I.. )
I ended up just getting the one instead of both, then when I decided I actually really.. really liked it (all of 2 days later) they had sold out...and the rest as they say is history......

i find it very hard to say 'i prefer micallef's charcoals' or 'his colour work is sublime', to me the bulk of his work is of equal stature. i have a peacekeeper and have seen the other three of that series, all of which have amazing detail and are printed to the absolute highest quality.
i know have a GIWTBB and have just bought a shibuya crossing, both of which are equally as stunning but in their own right. i think it is just a little dismissive to even contemplate that there is any kind of 'one or the other', it is totally to antony's credit that his has the talent, skill and dynamism to produce different styles to equally high standards.

i actually love all the talk of his prints being cheap just now, it offers so many of you the chance to treat yourselves to something truly stunning.
much hate for the recent laz prints as there was before they went on sale, there was a lot of hate for laz on the day they sold out but for the most part, the people posting on here were gutted about missing out on a print.
i truly hope those that did, take the opportunity to get one at near cost on ebay while the going is good, it may not always be so easy, as those that were willing to queue but unable to get what they came for, finally get what they want.

POW said micallef wanted to flood the market and he did, in spite of his agent he has managed to keep his recent work reasonably accessable, don't be another one who says 'remember when you could get them for cost on the bay'......................
