Banksy Gorilla Print Release - POW, by Karl Read on Jul 17, 2012 9:24:23 GMT 1, I don't think these big gaps between Banksy print releases is good for him  I would say a max time of 6 months between print releases just about keeps things ticking over nice for his fans. I think that any longer than 6 months and people start to get frustrated and start drifting off and move on to other Artists, so bad for Banksy but maybe good for the scene?
Disagree, i think it makes people want his prints even more. Supply and demand and all that.

Ha, without trying to spam this thread, a few ideas up my sleeve. Id like to release a print this year some time, maybe a couple of originals. Ideally another U.S release and a U.K release. Playing around with a few images/ideas but nothing i feel like i want to release yet. Just gonna do some painting and see what happens. Im soooo busy with my day job, 14-15 hour days for a few months now. Its calming down soon so should be able to get on with my personal work soon. Anyway, back to Banksy .............

I'd say he more likely has a problem with the queuers.

He is an artist and publisher after all and sometimes editions are shelved through poor printmaking or artists simply not liking the end product. Think that's maybe the reason behind the remaining non-published LA editions.

picking a print with a glitter finish provides the ready-made excuse for advertising a new Banksy print then pulling it further down the line. Wouldn't be surprised if Banksy's not doing any more POW prints, but they're worried about the effect of announcing it! =\
