It is in effect his self portrait and as such is possibly the most 'arty' piece he's consigned to his print portfolio.
It may not be new but as a revealing tragic comedy piece I think it's rather wonderful.

Too funny and some good points. On the other hand, I don't feel like Banksy owes his fans anything. I love how Shep makes his prints available but if Banksy wants to boost his prices, that's up to him.

With most POW releases it's best to occupy the unhappy bandwagon and avoid disappointment but with the minute chance of elation

I've been a bit 'meh' about releases since the LA show. Quite liked last years (despite finding the gimmick of multi colourways a bit tedious), though I thought Doughnuts and NBG were dull, and I've never been taken with the aesthetics of VLH or Nola (her head really is far too large)! All subjective of course, but personally I could see this one on my wall. Of course, the chances of that happening are slim but we can all dream.

You honestly believe that any of the local residents affected by the riots would give a fuck about what image Banksy produces in his latest print release?
I imagine this print is Banksy erring on the side of political correctness.
