I was on the Faile site the second it dropped and pasted my details to save time, but the server kept crashing and in the end my mail didn't go through till 5 minutes past putting me way out of contention! Yes this may be a better system but I think the email system is a lot more fair and takes out web pages crashing, just a point of view
...yes agree, I thought that drop worked really well too.
Entering your details on a web page still means too much traffic/stress on the site, just sending an email avoids all of that

Faile two new prints, by saint on Dec 14, 2012 12:08:06 GMT 1, possibly the fairest system would be to email in over a given time period and then for a random selection of email addresses to be chosen. This way the site wouldnt crash, and everyone has a chance no matter when they enter their email.
Saying that, i still think a great deal of kudos should be given to Faile for the way they have tried to make sure everyone has a chance, and also the offer of the sneak peak/ap given to those who got refunded. No matter what the system, some would always miss out, and obviously thats gonna get people upset.
The only way to deal with this is a time release, as has been mentioned before, however I quite see why some artists don't want to do that. After all, demand needs to be there to maintain interest.

Same here as Chaturz I ctrl v my email and hit send within 5 seconds and the server just kept crashing so I didn't get the confirmation until a good few minutes past release. Gutted as I was quite quick and wanted the saved as I struggled to decide which of the two I wanted more.

In all honesty I got a heartbreak on the sneek peek, went for a saved and another heartbreak in the email bunfight, the idea being if I scored an extra heartbreak I could use it to score a tonight. I didn't get an extra one but if that makes me a bad person so be it =]

Just saw it an hour ago with the password not working any more...so annoyed right now. "The Saved" is for sure one of my favourite Faile images. Think I'm going to get drunk now hoping the Patricks will reply to my email begging that I still can get a print.
