Thats the best test. So far about bomb suit theres been the classics 'who is the spaceman' and 'why is a frog holding a present'.
If you need to explain it thoroughly then it does not work as a print as the message is overly complex. If your intending to tell dolks life story... Some stranger who you have had little contact with, then i guess this works for you

If you're valuing an image on the ease with which you explain / impress another your missing the point of enjoying art totally. If however your point is how easily can I sell this based on its accessibility, then say it.

I would have to disagree. It's not about how you can explain it to others so they get it, they don't have to enjoy it. It's about what the viewer sees and interprets. I can look at a picture and see something completely different than you. That doesn't make it less worth, less art. That's what makes it art. If you need an explanation, then it probably isn't for you.

Props to Dolk for doing this... The Tsunami and reactor was very close to home for me as I have friends and family affected by this... & still unable to return home.
