POW Pictures on Walls, by stuey09 on Feb 19, 2007 10:38:00 GMT 1, I've booked the whole of this week off. Missed out on Micallef on the 5th due to a pointless meeting, so not taking any chances. However, what's the betting that I'm at the front door signing for my Faile delivery tomorrow morning whilst your all feverishly loading Trolly Hunters into your basket. This is just number 2 in a series of nightmares. No sleep tonight.

POW Pictures on Walls, by Tyler Durden on Feb 19, 2007 10:45:08 GMT 1, So glad it's not just me who looks like an unwashed member of the undead at work today due to another sleepless night. I had a pointless meeting when the Micallef's came on too Stuey. What made it worse was I e-mailed POW in the morning wondering where the option to pay for stuff was and they made that bit work at exactly the wrong time.

POW Pictures on Walls, by Tyler Durden on Feb 19, 2007 10:54:36 GMT 1, Cheers you too. It's almost worth a few peeps on this forum exchanging no.s to stop the others buying to sell at rip off prices on t'ebay. If it definitely is trolley hunters coming up then I'd be tempted. I did bid on Judgement Day and a Blek le Rat (Beggar) but they went for too much.

Granted, odds are with the refresh army by the time the email arrives the prints will be gone or the servers down.

POW Pictures on Walls, by Tyler Durden on Feb 19, 2007 11:01:05 GMT 1, Yea fair point. Could be the quickest sell out ever it's not on a lottery style system. Anyone wondering why Banksy's site doesn't link right now???

POW Pictures on Walls, by corblimeylimey on Feb 19, 2007 11:06:55 GMT 1, With all the talk of the specific wording "around February 20th" everyone assumes that maybe new prints will be released on the 19th. Knowing POW's organisational skills it's more likely to be later than earlier.
I agree with you on this, you've got to remember that they're already 2 months late on getting all the LA prints out, but you can't help but check early.

You've taken a week off work so you can sit in front of the computer pressing refresh?
Christ......

True. I remember when Grannies wen t on sale, I actually had the choice between a signed and unsigned. I bought the unsigned as I couldn’t afford the signed print. In retrospect, I guess it would have been worth the extra cash. Doubt I will have the luxury this time.

POW Pictures on Walls, by absyrd on Feb 19, 2007 13:27:06 GMT 1, Today is the first day in a while I haven't seen things go "back up" (yet). Hopefully that means work is being done to prepare for tomorrow.

When I was a student I could hardly afford to eat, let alone buy banksys!! Now I'm earning, nothing's changed but I like to think I'll pay my credit card off at some point. Good luck anyways.

Well I applied for the maximum amount of student loan this year to buy art prints and that. I will be paying of around £8 a week for 50 years, worth it to get a banksy ;D

Yeah they have changed the structure of it now its pathetic. My bro got his fees payed for him in his first year in 2003 why I had to pay £1200 in 2004 and we were living under the same roof.

POW Pictures on Walls, by Tyler Durden on Feb 19, 2007 14:48:26 GMT 1, That blows. They did the same in my year, which was the first year there were no grants. Not gonna turn this into a political rant, but the peter kennard print I've got on my wall always gives me a wry smile when I think about how true it is.

POW Pictures on Walls, by pezlow on Feb 19, 2007 17:33:23 GMT 1, Ok - its now 4.30pm on 19th and the POW site has not changed a bit. I am going to venture to suggest that there will be no new art up on the site tomorrow. After all in fairness to them they must have hundreds of back orders to deal with from the reopening.

POW Pictures on Walls, by CR on Feb 20, 2007 0:31:32 GMT 1, grannies took 2ish hours but let people continue to order them once they had sold out.
applause took the whole afternoon but only because you couldnt get on or couldnt complete the sale - always said my basket was empty.
if it works right this time i reckon 15 mins and they will all be sold.
perhaps 1 minute for signed!
