Ed Templeton news, by sal on Dec 18, 2012 1:04:00 GMT 1, I couldn't find a thread dedicated to this legendary skateboarder (founder of Toy Machine Skateboards), artist, and photographer, and since I've been following his Instagram, I wanted to share some new drawings he did ever since he broke a leg back in Nov, some of them for a solo show @ Tim Van Laere gallery in Antwerp, Belgium in March 2013:
personally, I grew up with Toy Machine being my favorite skateboarding company, and I still have pile of magazine adds, with Ed's photos, drawings, and hidden messages that I always enjoyed discovering in there.. few years later, Im loving his work even more for whole different reasons..

It's great to see a thread dedicated to him that has been around for a good while. I'm a big fan, I use to skate Toy Machine decks when I was younger. I was obsessed to say the least. How great to see a book of his work coming out. Thanks for the heads up! If anyone knows of any Toy Machine sketches that Ed did from back in the day that may be available shoot me a dm.

I grew up being a "loyal pawn" as well, collected skate mag adds, and can say his work definitely influenced my interest for art.
