GIWTBB for sale, by cashman on Oct 20, 2007 14:16:04 GMT 1, A friend of a friend has just received there print this morning and he's decided he does'nt want it due to the fact that he's not a fan of the tube they used to send it 
you can all understand the amount of trouble it took to take the print from the posties hands so he's decided to sell the print for ยฃ600 to cover his costs

Remember at the beginning of the year when people were moaning about paying ยฃ600 for judgement day/friendly fire? Look at how much they cost now! I am not stating this from an investment point of view, if you don't have one get one bought or you will regret.

You cant really compare this print to them,IMO its more of a flags type scenario. Once the sales of this print settle down I dont think you will need to pay more than ยฃ700 to buy it.
I was lucky to get one from POW ( although they havn't sent it yet) and its my 2nd AM so I already know its absolute keeper. Who evers looking to buy I hope you get a great price as im shaw the value will take a battering 1nce the final batch are sent out and even more hit the bay

i have to disagree, the laz prints never went for a massive amount anyway so to say they are plummeting is just a little melodramatic to say the least.
IM i think really need to be juxtaposed with 21stCL and the uzi's make a good pair but don't really stand up alone. the peacekeeper is not only a classic iconic image but it is also a beautifully printed piece, if the image is not to someone'sliking fair enough but you cannot deny the fact it is an absolute classic that is instantly recognisable as a micallef. for me it is up there with 21stCL, FF, JD etc as being instantly recognised as some of his standout works.
not saying that those four are the best, or even my favourites, just that you will recognise them as being symbolic of antony micallef quicker than anything else.
for what it's worth i think bomber girl, girl in the red dress and shibuya crossing are by far and away his best pieces to date but sometimes artist are judged on the 'familiarity' of their work over the asthetics of it.

2. People can't make profit on them
3. They're not the strongest images from the show
4. They have been priced by Laz about right
However I agree with you who say that thay are very good prints and far better in flesh.
It's good time to buy Micallef. I own most of his prints and they are great. Few prints can match the quality and the beauty coming from them. They are powerful pieces.
