Is there a simple solution to why my laptop wont attach images / documents to e-mails anymore.
When I click on the attach, dick all happens. Is there a quick fix?
I am a simpleton when it comes to laptops and their functionality. In exchange for assistance I would be pleased to help someone apply for a small business loan (or a large business loan for that matter).

have you tried 'copy' on the doc icon and then 'paste' into the email. Just make sure that you have pressed 'return/enter' key somewhere in the email before you try paste-ing.
Or even 'drag' and 'drop'? GL

I don't see why Google Chrome would affect my ability (for example) to attach a jpeg to an e-mail. I bought my parents a slide (picture) scanner for xmas and now can't e-mail them the photos they took 45 years ago!

Laptop help required!, by Deleted on Jan 3, 2013 20:47:11 GMT 1, Nothing for a while, then I get a dialogue box which is empty apart from a couple of dropdown options, at this stage I'd expect to get a full menu of where I'd like to attach from and so on.

if rebooted already try to open internet explorer, click tools, internet options, advanced tab and click reset settings and try again.

etc etc... you know whilst it might be obvious to you..
many here don't have esp.... myself included.
--otherwise might i suggest you use something pretty idiot proof... like
gmail ?
not that you're an idiot - it's just that it's way easier to use than most default - read trashy - mail clients...
..there. you go.... that was easy, painless and free - unlike a loan.
