Banksy flyers/posters/stickers, by mouser on Feb 25, 2013 20:01:55 GMT 1, Thanks AP, very much appreciated, I have a fair few of these wee things that are nice momentos but of limited value or verifiable, kept alot of the POW stickers and postcards from back in the day, big neigbourhood watch stickers etc, all fun but relatively worthless other than because they are cool. I think I have given more away over the years than seems sensible now ( sets so crude oil cards, kate cards, bristol posters, stickers etc, but know they all went to a good home and got used which is better than sat in a box here, so all good).

Moral: Careful of those for sale online  I would have thought no one would copy a cheap throwaway flyer and sell for 20-30 pounds but I was wrong.

Banksy flyers/posters/stickers, by Deleted on Feb 26, 2013 1:21:17 GMT 1, here is a poster i got a few years back now  and from a Banksy exhibition wall  A Che poster turned up today, nicely printed on thick'ish matt paper, 420x533mm approx. cosmic mentioned they may have been handed out at the Notting Hill Carnival in 2004, but that's all I have to go on atm. 
I'd LOVE one of these for my "Wall of Che"

Still got some questions about this version with the different Turf War type, 99% of these I've seen including the uncut printers proof shown earlier in the thread use the Germanic script typeface, this and the other one sold on ebay have the simpler weathered type.
Anyone else seen or have one of these versions or knows about the two diff. styles!?

Banksy in The Arches
Banksy put on an exhibition here with fellow anarchic artist Jamie Reid in March 2001. It was called Peace Is Tough. You could buy his work on canvas, but he also painted some straight on to the walls of the Arches. This is one of his pieces in Arch 2.
We then painted over it.
There are places all over Glasgow with a similar story. We're currently looking in to the possibility of getting it restored. Watch this space.

The vinyl ones are a couple of mill shorter..
and the issuing directive is bolder and spaced better..

Nah, they are totaly different stock, one is weatherproof vinyl with a plain back, The other paperish fassion crackback plus backed..
