Please PM me if this is of interest to you.
I will ask the swapper pick up my s&h costs also - but otherwise a straight swap.

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by ABC on Oct 24, 2007 19:49:07 GMT 1, I suppose it is but DE seems to be more "the must have Neate" now, just the way the bizzare art market works..

Me too Bigger picture really good and top of my want list. Dont understand the fuss over deep end. Dont get me wrong I can see the artistic skill etc and its better than I'll ever be able to do but compared to all his other prints its just a bit .................................dare I say it..................boring.

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by sausageboonwee on Oct 24, 2007 20:32:48 GMT 1, I love the Bigger Picture original but felt it lost a lot in translation to print. Despite being slightly more expensive I'd say it's a fair swap now. I'd say DE is calming rather than boring but that's only my opinion.

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by veralynn on Oct 24, 2007 20:33:02 GMT 1, I think Deep End has just got more 'going on' and those who own it would possibly agree, its got pride of place in my hallway and there's something different every time.....forgetting about the disparity in price I just think that there's more 'value' in D/E. Just an opinion...but thats what it's all about?

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by artlover on Oct 24, 2007 20:40:12 GMT 1, Don't get me wrong - I think BP is a stunner - personally I just like the 'reflectiveness' of DE slightly more.
If no one takes me up on this swap - I will still be quite happy with what I have.

dunno... bigger picture is framed and ready to go up as soon as the trip & portraits come home , deep end is about 4th or 5th in the Neate framing queue for me...

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by andrewd on Oct 24, 2007 20:56:31 GMT 1, Anyone want to swap their Red and White Self Portraits for my Queens Special and Come On. Only joking! Swapping is a good idea re Adam's prints. I certainly wouldn't let any of mine go without getting others to replace them.

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by dotdot on Oct 24, 2007 21:07:33 GMT 1, SB - i agree with your points.
BP is majestic, on the other hand, underlining a few modern, hopefully outdated in a few years, traits ... - pandering to the media...
The fact the the words which we saw - in the real image - didn't translate totally - will make the prints of this image all the more ambiguous in years to come.
As for DE yes i do agree it is calming and will be viewed as parallel to Hockney for a whole raft (oops) of reasons. When will AN break the US ? When he does he'll be bigger than b4nksy. but then thats only imho ...

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by Zippy on Oct 24, 2007 21:10:02 GMT 1, JJ are only open weekdays. You have to make an appointment up to 10 days in advance. They then ask for a min of 3 weeks. They are very expensive.
But, the stuff i have seen them frame is truly stunning!! Z

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by dave313perry on Oct 24, 2007 21:49:34 GMT 1, It always grates me to spend loads on framing - i just see it as wasted money for other prints. I know framing is a skill in itself but if i can get away with a cheapy i will!!!
but then again im a cheap skate!!

SWAP: NEATE FOR NEATE, by RBK on Oct 24, 2007 21:58:45 GMT 1, I think you should never cheap-out on framing. But I'm just wondering if I pick a nice frame, have spacers, use museum/uv glass - am I missing anything?

and dont forget prices that could finance a small country,,,,
plenty of other framers out there who do a damn good job and don't charge an amount that most of us can't afford
