There is a difference between selling at a fair market rate and coming in well over the top though

I think what's getting peoples backs up is you're offering your prints for around £1,800 - £1,250.
To pick up on your 'naming and shaming' Crazyjake, Applause £750, you try getting one on ebay for under £900, I guess if you were doing us all a favour by selling your Applause I guess you'd be looking for around £1,400.

my only gripe is that you felt the need to make your point at the detrement of other members, you will not get any respect or standing in this community if you try to negate members purely to suit your own ends, hope that is clear?
as for the squealing rat reference, it is that precise tactic of naming and blaming others to try and justify your own ends that is used by squealing rats in court, "if i go down i'm taking you all with me!".
make your point on your own merits, don't justify them at other peoples expense, it's very poor form. kapeesh?

and people think the +1 -1 system is bullshit, but its not... what goes around does come around and if you help out fellow member get a piece they want for a fair price, later your more likely to get hooked up on a piece you really want...

But, I would much rather sell something to someone on here who has a lot of respect, and would feel fine about selling it below market value to boot. Remember, it's all about calma...

The first yellow pages was I think around $400. Before the last release the most expensive prints that faile had ever released were the varied edition happens everyday that was $550. At the time I thought that was an awful lot to pay for a faile print. Now I am glad that I did. ;D
As for the whole flipping argument I do feel there is a distinction between people who are in effect using this scene as a money making opportunity who have no real interest in the art and those who love the art but need to buy and sell a bit to keep funding their habit.
I know both rupert and johnstonamerica fall in to the latter category as their love for the art is obvious. It's pretty shabby to bring them in to this argument just to justify yourself BK.
Live and let live I say. Good luck to you in your sales. I might even be interested if they were a bit cheaper
