I have bought a print like Aft1ca and changed my mind but sold it on this forum for the original sale price... It's what an art lover and real collector does . You must be kidding right? If you have never sold a print for a profit than you probably have a rather small collection and are new to this, otherwise it just makes sense sometimes when you have a chance to make extra money to get more art. Or are you a trust fund baby and money is not a concern? Get a few hundred prints under your belt and then get on your soap box, doing someone a favor and letting a hot print go for cost is all well and good, but again sometimes you need to crreate captiol to work with, its business, supply and demand, and just simply reality my friend..

I'm guessing Einstien is differentiating buying a print with the intention of holding onto it vs the intention of buying purposely to sell it on for a profit.
Being forced to sell something later due to necessity is different from flipping.

Yes it sucks and pisses us all off but again can't blame people for doing it to get ahead..just my opinion, we all know this is an expensive habit we all have!

The fact that so many people on hear get upset with flippers is crazy, I don't love em or hate em its just life. If you can take $100 and turn it into $200 in a few minutes then I say more power to you as long as no one got hurt along the way. And some one paying more than cost for something is not hurting anyone, they are making the choice to pay the premium to satisfy there own personal wants, honestly there is no art anyone has to have, its a choice, or a ticket for that matter..the emotion people have over this topic is just baffeling.
