I am amazed so few sold when, run quality and price are so good compared to a lot of other JR prints. Anyway will have it framed ASAP am super happy with it and don't really care it didn't sell out

I think there is still a lot available cause social animals website is quite new, not a lot of people knows about the website! It isn't that new. JR has a lot of prints out and they don't seem to sell very well at his current pricing. I'm not surprised at all. As well if something does sell out I think there is a good chance that he would do a slightly different version like he has with hold up (now on its third release). That one has been out for ages and not many have sold in the last year. I know because I'd love to own one and check periodically. I don't think there is any rush to buy. I don't think any of his current prints will sell out any time soon. |

It's a beautiful, haunting image, and a fitting remembrance of the victims of the Japanese tsunami. It's certainly thought-provoking. Though I question whether I could live with it on my wall on a daily basis.
If I was JR I certainly wouldn't worried about it not selling out immediately. Indeed I think his pricing cleverly positions his work outside of the general urban art scene, and makes for a better long term strategy.

I contacted them through their website and never got an answer ( my question was really important) . For those who recieved their prints damaged, you should first send them an email through their website but don't wait too long before opening a paypal case...

It's just such fragile paper. Reminds me of some of the paper many banksy are on ( that end up with creasing issues)

so I sent an email Directly to Jr, the next day I received the shipping mail from UPS!
I don't know if this email helped me but I finally got it!
