In 2009 I bought a ~ Math Magazine with an original “D*face sketch” on it which was done at the launch party for Issue 1 back in 2004. The seller sent me a detailed email with information and pictures to
assure me the sketch was authentic.


Hi Tim, Thanks for your email.
Math Magazine was created by my good friend Hugh Frost, and the launch party was in
May 2004 at the Brighton Media Centre Gallery. This gallery no longer exists
but it used to be at 9-12 Middle Street in Brighton.

As I say in the listing, I was one of the artists involved and my work features in this
publication under the name Project Muws. At this time

D*face was part of the Finders Keepers Crew (other members included PMH,
Mysterious Al and Dave the Chimp) and they were all at the event. This
Math Mag was one of a handful D*face signed and sketched on at the opening.

I have attached some pictures of the event which shows us setting up the
gallery space, and you can see Mysterious Al in the orange sweatshirt!

Please just shout if you need anything else, but I can assure you that this 100% genuine.
Could you please let me know if you would like to purchase this soon as I have
received a few other offers since yours.
 

Later that year I picked up a couple of framed D*face Sketches. I have been on
the hunt for more information on the authenticity of the “Framed Sketches”. I
knew they sketches were bought from a contributor to a “street art magazine” in
2007, but at the time of purchase it was not stated which magazine. So after
not receiving replies from “Stolen space” I decided to crack the frame open to
see if the sketches “which I assumed were on thick paper” were signed by D* on
the back.


To my surprise both sketches have also been produced on the back of ~ “Issue 1”
of “MATH MAGAZINE” from 2004 ~ Of which as stated above D*face was a part of.  

So I would assume they were done at the launch party or around that time in 2004.  

When I listed the Sketches  here last year I had a lot of interest
I hope this extra information is enough to secure a nice trade of cash deal.
