Three people are interested in my Parla and one has indicated that he would be totally uninterested in going further if there is no physical coa or provenance to go with it.
Having bought this direct from Paul at elms myself the provenance is literally an email or phone call away but it doesn't seem that this would be enough for the interested party.
I'd have thought an original Parla speaks for itself and I've certainly seen no fakes but out of interest was anyone else given a coa with a Parla original?
I doubt this sale is going anywhere anyway but am I being unreasonable by saying I don't think someone should even be considering buying a Parla from anyone but the man himself if email or phone confirmation from his main UK dealer isn't sufficient?
I seem to remember Elms not being keen to sell to anyone who wasn't going to keep it at one time. Maybe they wouldn't give confirmation anyway if this is still the case?
That would only leave me with a bank statement and an obvious 100% genuine Parla for proof. What then?

It is a fair chunk of change and although I've never heard or seen a fake I can understand the desire to have some additional documentation to help act as provenance.
