Stik interview with Beautiful Crime (UAA Mentioned, by Deleted on Mar 1, 2013 11:47:04 GMT 1, C'mon really Another artist having a fat neck and criticizing people who just expressed their opinion !!! The classic artist pedant attitude. Continue like that Stik
Funniest of all, two lines below it says "It is important the people have a place to express their feelings and ideas." ?
*****
"The pedant is he who finds it impossible to read criticism of himself without immediately reaching for his pen and replying to the effect that the accusation is a gross insult to his person. He is, in effect, a man unable to laugh at himself." โ Sigmund Freud, The Ego and the Id.

Stik interview with Beautiful Crime (UAA Mentioned, by Dr Plip on Mar 1, 2013 12:27:13 GMT 1, To be fair, it doesn't look like Stik said anything about the forum, and that opinion was down to the writer of the article.
I'm sure the writer is on this forum, and many others.
The Urban Art Association is not the only forum where street artists can come in for criticism.
And what's the problem with "overt negativity"? These are opinions out in the open. If you look, you'll see overt POSITIVITY on this forum too. It's usually quite balanced, but people only take offence or tend to notice the negative comments.
I know you can say "If you haven't anything nice/constructive to say, don't say anything at all", but then what's the point? We might as well just all be nodding dogs, applauding every new release and street piece, and nobody learns anything, and it's all false.
So what if there is some negativity on this forum. It's free speech, and that's what street art is all about.
You're entitled to your opinion just as much as the next person is entitled to disagree with you.
"Overt negativity". Christ, why don't you just just the term "haters" and be done with it.
Edit: (See, the writer of the article has their opinion, and I have mine. We all go home and make love)
