Comes with the best COA I own - stenciled bee on ply, signed on reverse. A piece of art in it's own right!



Now here is the thing. The canvas is damaged. There are two lines running across the canvas, diagnally, though one is short, just across a corner.

I always thought these were where a roller had painted the black background, as the lines are pretty much parallel. However, it was pointed out to me that the lines correspond to lines on the back of the canvas - as though the canvas has been scored.

The canvas arrived with me like this. I think it was done before the canvas was stretched, as the lines go beyond the wood to the edge of the canvas - it would be near impossible to damage the canvas like this, once on the wooded frame.

You can just make out the lines in the photo above.

In view of this, I will sell this for £150 (you pay fees or paypal gift) but I will pay postage (England, Wales or Scotland). Postage abroad at cost.
