It's not like Arsenal had really a choice (to sell RVP or not), if his contracts is about to end (the following year) and the player wants to leave... Giroud will eventually get a bit luckier and score more I'm sure... |

Anyway, to not replace him with a decent striker is ridiculous, Giroud was a gamble and is never going to be a good enough striker to fill RVPs shoes, he's way to slow for starters. I just dont understand Wengers decisions sometimes.... i can't remember the last good defender he's bought?? Aresnals defence and keeper just scare the s**t out of each other all game. They dont have one player there who wants to take control and keep that line tight and the defence together.

Still a way to go yet and yes our defence is weak, we will continue to concede but attack every team and just hope we score more than them, nothing else we can do.
Regards RVP, tbh it was totally wrong to sell him and imo it just added to the hatred we have towards our current board. It might not get us anywhere but one day, when the money dries up we'll remind them of how they treated us loyal supporters with their greed.

Letting contacts run down was our first mistake although i hope this is being ironed out, Wilshere signed his current deal when he had 3 years left on his old contact in December.
I would have done the same with RVP though, he owed us. We carried him through all his injuries, he has ONE decent season and decides he wants to join utd. He supports Arsenal and has since childhood, that alone
should be enough. He should have gone abroad.

Fair do's Coach. Should be a decent match anyway, Albion fans are secretly worried that you'll do them and possibly in the play off's totalling four victories against them this season! (If they make it with only one striker).
