I've been getting some thinking time in whilst in New York City and decided it's high time to get some merch out there, starting with the Vandal tote bag to get things rolling. You can stick stuff in it!! The bags are 20" wide, 15" high and 5" deep, and are priced at £20 plus shipping. They will be made as an open edition, but please keep an eye out for variations which will appear from time to time.

Nick Walker is an established artist and I believe this type of mass merchandising is beneath him. If this is what he has taken away from his journey to New York than he needs to find a better local tour guide. It would have been more acceptable if he tied in a charity to share in the profits. This it the type of merchandising that Banksy lampoons on his website. What's next coffee mugs, flip flops, & Vandal Pez dispensers.

I don't have a problem with him selling the tote bag, I just would'nt buy it. I love David Shillinglaw's work but would'nt buy his tote bag either. Although I do have prints, books, magazines, bottles and an original by him. I would re consider my opinion of Nick if he got to the Hirst stage of selling anything and everything with his name on it.
