If you think that there are probably only between 50-60 gallery pieces around, and I should say that as virtually everyone who has a piece loves it, there is little hope of getting one, so when the bidding opens on the piece in the auction, there are going to be quite a few people after it.

i dont blame you for wanting one, but if someone were to sell, surely they would want a significant return, over & above the current maret rate, i would suggest that if your really serious about buying & have the cash, go see paul @ elms, i'm sure he'd be sympathetic & help you out if he can.
