get ready for the first solo show in Italy of Robert Proch. His art is an experiment of the imagination. He creates impressive visions, half-way between abstraction and figuration.

Modern human condition, inaction and freedom are the concepts that will be explored in Robert Prochโs exhibition at Wunderkammern, "Crossing the Line". According to the artist, people are influenced by numerous factors that condition their lives and actions: everyday needs, repeated daily gestures or pressures of the majority. Freedom seems an utopian ideal, still we always seek for it. But sometimes a breaking point happens in which we are able to see clearly and take a free action, take a step further; we cross the line. However not taking this step can lead to a frustration that can degenerate in destructive tendencies. The artist portrays imagined personalities in this critical state of mind, on the thin line that separates the two conditions.

Tellas (Cagliari, 1985) lives and works in Rome. The artist receives a degree in Visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna where he first came in contact with urban art. Could always get a Rome Invasion map.

He writes for a web mag. The restaurants and cafes reviewed are all great apparently: mangiareevivere.com or eatingandliving.it
Best chocolate: Quetzalcoatl
Good authentic food: Da Luigi or Ai Tre Scalini
Il Bacaro is also good. Very quaint, out of the way.
Cool place to visit: - Campo Di Fiori

Felt the aftershock as our building moved and rumbled a bit. But all fine. Amazing place and would recommend. I'm going back as soon as I can. Did the Vatican, Sistine chapel (breathtaking) Spanish steps, colluseaum. Saw some invaders. There is just so many beautiful buildings everywhere and fantastic Renaissance art.

Did you felt the earthquake in Rome? Sorry about that, I had a bad experince too in 2012.. anyway, Rome is simply unique! I love it! Glad you enjoy it and for sure the food!
