Yeah I took the plunge as well.
Its a cool wee gadget , in decent light.
Taken nigh on 1000 shots ..and Printed a Few hundred, just to see how it would perform.

I recently had a week off and looked at how to work it through the website. Once I got going I really enjoyed it. It does need decent light but does take some really nice pictures. Well worth the investment. I'd be interested to see what his next invention will be.

When did you order? - I got in on the last batch but it said delivery wouldn't be till December - was happy enough to wait but be even happier if they are now going out

re timelapse function : yeah i know - have yet to test it to see how many hours it'll run for.
(but if you set the option to turn all the lights out , it will run for longer !! )

Couple of queries for a Luddite ...
I see that it is up to to 12 megapixals, but does it autofocus/how does it know what you are focusing on?
I also do not see that you use a SD or similar card - so how do you download the images direct from the camara(?) via a USB to you PC etc?

Camera that I've designed, by dash on Jun 7, 2014 17:02:06 GMT 1, hey its got a high F ratio (how big the hole is that lets light through) so everything is pretty much in focus so you don't have to worry about focusing - this does mean its not as good in the dark though but trade offs and stuff.
