My Faile Monster II, by dkla on Nov 4, 2007 15:48:58 GMT 1, Hey guys - I'm thinking about maybe selling my Faile Monster II to get some cash in hand. Wondering if you can please give me an idea of the price I could get for it? Feel free to PM offers as well.
Also a reminder if anybody wants to swap their signed Trolley print for my Sepia Morons to let me know. I know I can sell it on ebay but once having all of that cash in hand, it would be a tough decision to then turn around and spend it on a print -- might wind up keeping it. Would much rather trade and avoid that whole dilemma. PM me if interested.
I actually have gotten a bunch of interested parties from my past posts, but the ongoing problem seems to be avoiding taxes for UK folks. Apparently if I ship a package from the US to the UK and insure it for the full value (say, $7,000 for Sepia Morons), then the UK recipient has to pay taxes on that $7,000, even if I mark the package as a gift. Is that true? Is there a way to avoid this? It just seems crazy to me. I'd appreciate any advice here.
Thank you!
