But - you are going to have to quick - the deadline for submissions is 9am tomorrow.
From the website:
"Apply now to our competition for a chance to have your work displayed in the National Portrait Gallery and receive a ยฃ10,000 commission to produce a portrait for The British Library"
"Grab your pencils, brushes and spray cans, it's time to take part in Sky Arts' search for for the UK and Ireland's most talented portrait artist. We've launched a search for an inspiring and talented artist who can be crowned Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year. So whether you're an amateur or a seasoned professional, we invite applications from anyone over the age of 16 to take part in the competition that sees us working with prestigious organisations including the National Portrait Gallery and The British Library. The competition will be filmed for a series to be broadcast in the autumn on Sky Arts, presented by Joan Bakewell and Frank Skinner."
