Eelus or Bnaksy??, by Unlawful Art on May 10, 2013 12:53:27 GMT 1, This has probably already been done - but I'd like to see you guys responses anyway. We have both of these at unlawful art, but which do you guys prefer. I put this on our FB page a little while back, (link) and it got a great response, full blown arguments!! haha! So I'm guessing the response on here could live up to that haha!
(We have an idea at Unlawful Art, what do you lot think.)
Which is best/ which do you prefer?

I know this is the Banksy forum, but Nola has a face that's not very well executed. Not to mention primate-esque.
Never understood the demand for Nola prints. (except the secondary market.) which is why I think so many peeps go gaga over Banksy.
Out of Banksys' body of work, there are not that many impressive pieces.
I'm not saying he isn't talented. There are a few I would like to own. Although I will not pay those prices! Also, when it comes to his work, I think people are more concerned about the $/ยฃ than the actual image.
As well as the boast factor, posting an image on this board of the 'new Banksy' they just picked up. I'm sure that woody only last for so long.
Not sure if it is POW that is responsible for the unsigned/numbered prints. I've always thought that was stupid. It's also redonk for an artist to not sign their own work.

I do think the banksy is better because of the link with the hurricane.

The Banksy image is the exact opposite. A normal looking girl being rained on even though she thought she was protected. A clear reference to the citizens of New Orleans who were basically ignored by the US Govt following Katrina. I know people love rainbows and pretty splatter in there art.....but really?
