All the Bast stuff looks the same to me and its probably not something I would buy but the way people jump on the band wagon and the rubbish they buy I just thought it would sell quicker.
Look at Dran price crash you can't tell me people brought that because they liked it and the new Dolks weren't exactly great plus they were bigger editions and more expensive.

The pictures really don't do it justice. It says 2 colour screen print, but I'm not sure which colour other than black is printed!? The rest is paint over the glossy blue paper.

Prices vary greatly depending on edition size and technique.
From his site... Large print, edition of around 10, maybe $400-$600 !? I'm not exactly sure!

But then, at the end, everybody is happy, flippers bought an ugly print hoping to double profit, artists/gallery can write "sold out" and new prints in the market are sold out within minutes at crazy price.

Agree there's a lot worse that has sold out on POW just cos its POW.. Bast at POW, by Ruggs on May 28, 2013 14:12:50 GMT 1, I saw it displayed in POW once when they had their tiny lounge area. Its on shiny paper (I think). I can recall the blue being quite vivid. Not badly priced really. Personally I think it's a bit ugly. Just my opinion.

The paint is pretty thick and the paper is very glossy. If POW had a better picture with detail shots, I think the print would have sold out by now.
