EBAY KEYWORD SPAMMING, by kronoopus on Nov 11, 2007 17:24:26 GMT 1, I have a question....Isn't listing an auction on ebay with every artist not related to the listing in the title a violation of ebay policy in keyword spamming? I see tons of people get away with it, yet I have had every one of mine pulled if I list oh lets say a Bansky with Micallef Interest in the title or Stablemate, or close relative or third cousin or Bansky flier sticker? Anyone care to elaborate?

Chances are someone is reporting you in order to get your listing pulled, whilst theirs remains. Reduces competition. Don't condone it, but it happens.

Funny you should mention that.....I have those, and ebay pulled those too, because the Banksy picture "doesn't add any material value" to the original item.

Or someone feels bitter about a past transaction and have lots of time on their hands..... Actually quite a good technique to use if you really want to a piss someone off. Although i guess you've really got to be quite pissed off to bother.
