Based on the 4 storey mural painted at Upfest in May 2013 by Inkie, Ged Palmer & Tom Lane of Ginger Monkey.
This beautiful print utilises the phrase describing the hull strength of ships built specifically to withstand the tidal reach of Bristol's harbour... whilst also describing the quality of work coming out of the city... a term which can also describe todays creative output
Hand finished 3 colour screenprint by Mark my Words printhouse in Bristol. A2 size 420 x 594mm Signed, Embossed Stamped and numbered. On 220gm heavyweight art paper. Edition of 100 ONLY ยฃ60 + P&P

Sorry to be a pedant but I thought 'Ship Shape and Bristol fashion' meant tidy and orderly (because that's what Bristol's docks were known for) rather than any kind of a reference to strength.

The term โshipshapeโ refers to the neat order; โBristol fashionโ refers to the critical specifications that ships had to meet before entering Bristol Harbour. The phrase in its entirety means โneat, tidy and well-stowedโโฆ
