eBay Nola?, by Deleted on Jun 26, 2013 16:06:41 GMT 1, I've seen the wcp Nola on Ebay and it does seem to differ slightly from the original. The print seems to be a bit darker than it should be. Has anyone else noticed this as I thought that wcp prints were basically identical to the originals.

Ha ha why not! Who cares really? Not everyone can afford a Dolk or a Banksy so I dont see a problem. It's not as if Banksy is getting the ££££a for his work its the galleries who make the big profit.

eBay Nola?, by woomas on Jun 26, 2013 19:30:14 GMT 1, What's the point of the creative process then? Lets not bother with original thinking. Might as well give everything away for free. It's killing the music industry so it must be ok to do it for other art forms.

With these copies, I don't see the issue. Banksy prints and originals will continue to sell as soon as he makes them. These copies are not hurting demand at all any more than a poster of a famous painting hurts the painting.
These just give people the option to enjoy the image without going broke in the process. If Banksy didn't like it he could stop it quite easily.
If they were a bit better quality I might buy one or two. I have no issue with people buying these. I don't see the big deal.

Not sure i get your point. The only people losing out are the EBay sellers and galleries who want to get 10 times the amount for a Banksy print than what they paid for it. That said, people will still want original Banksys so it doesn't affect them at all.
I'm not sure how one person selling a few repro Banksys on EBay is going to singlehandedly stifle original thinking.
Maybe you should look at how much of Blek Le Rats work has been copied by Banksy if you want to see an example of original thinking not being put into use.
