As soon as the tube arrived, I took it out and left it laying flat, I wasn't planning on rolling it again to take down there. Then covid hit, everything locked down big time and I had this huge print waiting to be taken in.ย When I eventually got to take it to the framers I had to fold the back seats down in the car, put some big boards in the back and sit this on the boards wrapped in tissue paper. I secured it down but it was a worrying trip.ย Then there was the situation of having to order a huge sheet of glass from an outside company and foamex backboard because the frame wouldn't be strong enough to hold anything else. Ideally, I'd have had anti reflective glass, but it was additional costs. One day if I want, I can swap the glass out, keep this one and cut the glass into smaller sections for other prints so not all is lost in that respect.ย At the time of purchase I knew it would be trouble framing and storing, but I couldn't resist. Very happy to have it, and now it's up on the wall (it pretty much is THE wall!) , it's great displaying it.

I love the copacabana painting. But i donโt see any sense in collecting digital inkjet prints. Itโs a printout of a photo of a painting. Thereโs zero artistic value in giclee print reproductions of original works.
This one is actually the first ever print of his i really like.

Ewa Juszkiewicz was #1 a couple of years ago so it seem to know their stuff. She's with Gagosian and Almine Reach with action record over $700k.
For all NFT nerds, recently Tomasz sold an 1/1 NFT of one of his sculptures for $65-70k. The actual sculpture should be about โฌ10-15k

If you are new to NFTs, most are still Ethereum, but Solana is coming up pretty quickly and platforms such as CoinBase should be hosting multiple blockchain NFTs soon so this might make these even more accessible in the future. I'm guessing they made this decision to save on gas fees. Gas fees alone on ETH could have been more than the cost of a print. |

Sell the NFT, keep the print, and vice versa. I'm guessing if NFTs to keep making inroads, this will be the norm. |
