I seem to remember being asked by PC how much I paid for a certain Banksy on the secondary market when I was trying to get a COA, if that's a normal part of getting a COA and they ask everyone who applies for one or who transfer the ownership of a print then I guess they'd be in the best possible position to value Banksy prints.

Not only do pow not value works but they certainly would not write such a stupid statement like 'the price of banksy works are constantly rising'. Also they are not stupid enough to say kind regard and yours sincerely in the same letter.

You'd just keep hitting redial, the prices increase so fast these days.

not sure if the letter is real or not. Also it may have been knocked out for a mate etc.
not sure if they do or don't do valuations see no reason why they wouldn't but then again pretty sure they couldn't careless what I or anyone else on here thinks so probably best to just ask them.

Does POW value Banksy prints ?, by Deleted on Oct 28, 2014 13:15:21 GMT 1, Giving valuations by phone means that if the valuation is wrong they are not responsible for any losses etc as they can say it's verbal or as some auction houses and experts are alledged to say afterwards they can say "we didn't say that" unless of course the phone call is taped.
Plus giving verbal valuation and opinion is faster than other methods.
It's a bit 1984 though Pest Control keeping a data base of all the owners of the prints past and present.

To be fair the middle class data base only is expected to last another six months....and even now it is consigned to unsigned prints and posters
Ps if you don't have museum glass don't expect your membership too last too long on here either......you know what I'm saying!!!!

Wasn't in the market for that particular one but I'm sure I was shown an image with this type of statement of valuation by POW.

" We don't give valuations for prints but any of the reputable auction houses offer valuations for a small fee.
