Banksy piece "No Ball Games" wall removed..., by 11 on Jul 26, 2013 17:27:17 GMT 1, "The Sincura Group, which is behind its removal, said that "No Ball Games" had not been appreciated by locals and would be sold." - Damn them local residents - it's all their fault.
Did they not realise a little bit more interest on a daily basis would have saved it - if only they had realised how easy it was then Sincura would never have even considered removing t.....i did read it right didn't I

That's a pretty insulting statement.
What else is out there that isn't being appreciated by locals?

Banksy piece "No Ball Games" wall removed..., by 11 on Jul 29, 2013 14:11:18 GMT 1, Evolution of the Professional flipper?
I think we are now going to see more and more new start-ups all trying to rip images from the sides of buildings - it's almost as if the greedy few have decided that if they cant seed a queue with 50 or so 'family and friends' at the next release of a Banksy print then they'll just go and find the next best source of funds for doing as little as possible - and probably now feel they have stumbled upon a goldmine!!
Images like these should be treated as national treasures \ of national interest (or something along those lines) and be afforded protection as such.....

It's very crazy, but once someone has paid a lot of money for something, it sort of validates it in some way.
Or something like that.

Banksy piece "No Ball Games" wall removed..., by Chancho on Mar 8, 2018 14:55:12 GMT 1, Lurker, bumping an old thread, but, I was recently in Florida and I saw this just sitting in a gallery. It is half crated, in 3 pieces, and it made me very sad. Not sure what someone would even do with 3 big pieces of cement that don't really fit together anymore. Each is just a rectangle around the image, and the sign was just resting on top of the boy, making it look quite silly. Hope it sits there unsold, would have snapped a photo but that wasn't allowed.

I know the gallery. They had a Mr Brainwash flower thrower and some other of his stuff when I was there. Also an early B canvas but can't remember what it was.
Thought it might be them.
Cheers

See last pic in this CNN article
Obviously a repro but begs the question why a premier league player making millions can't put some real art work on the walls!
