MBW is at it again, by Layaway Days Art Blog on Jul 26, 2013 2:43:02 GMT 1, I love Mr. Brainwash. Love watching him in interviews. Only like about 10% of his work though. This is pretty awful though. I am guessing the over/under is about 1.4 seconds before it sells out. Not the 1.3 seconds it usually takes.

I think we as buyers have to stop believing that these so called "sell out" releases are in fact actually "sell outs". This is an artists website. He can do what he wants to keep the hype machine going. He puts a print up, if it doesn't really sell out in a short period of time, he marks it sold!

Incorrect, he marks them 'unavailable' when they dont sell out.

Spot on, when was the last time anything was still available after the 1.4 seconds mentioned.

He has nothing to worry about, I heard he lost because Koons don't own the image of a ballon animal. But I hope he still tries and the court rules with mr . Koons so no one has to see these ever again. They are really crap, especially the pink one. The only thing he did right is to go down in edition size..

Personally in two minds on this - do I join the bun-fight now or wait until he produces the Ballon-Dog & Einstein \ Chaplin mash-up......
The other question for me is, do I want anymore MBW as my collection as is already bursting at the seams with his stuff - and i only have a signed A4 piece of paper - one-off though
