EINE • Tenderloin AZ Prints, by Hubble Bubble on Sept 27, 2013 13:18:55 GMT 1, So, for around £75 you get your print framed to archival standard by the Nelly Duff workshop, using acid free materials, minimal water-based tabbing and sustainably sourced timber. Is that right? Spot on Mark, that is what I charge most people......Only when you come over do I have special "hike the price up" days! And 'try to flog them a mirror' days...

Yes anti glare has no protection its used to stop the light reflecting on the glass if you are well off enough to use picture lights to illuminate your art

When you start adding things it goes up - Boxed frame, floated forward etc -£170

I did suspect that that wasn't the deal, it was mentioned earlier in this thread. Just had to check it out. MFM all the way for me. Gary's sorting a few pieces for me now and I know 100% they'll all look superb. Oh! and delivered too! Need to save up more reddies so I can get the A-Z sorted.
Also noticed on Nelly duff's site this evening that these are now 53-colour screenprints.

Yes anti glare has no protection its used to stop the light reflecting on the glass if you are well off enough to use picture lights to illuminate your art UV protection protects the print. anti-glare as such offers little protection.
The different types of glass once you start searching can be quite confusing - just take a look at the tru-vue website! Perspex also offers quite high UV protection for those items on wood or invader books
www.tru-vue.com/Museums/
Try this link which explains the different types/effects a bit clearer (at least to me). ~I do not know or have used robinsonframes~
robinsonframes.com/category/uncategorized/page/2/
I believe MFM uses 'Clear Colour Plus UV Protection' as 'museum' glass. Top notch - save up for those special pieces.

That said......
Bearing in mind I receive the largest discount going from all U.K. Framing suppliers and pass it on, anyone under cutting me is either compromising on quality or won't be around long!

EINE • Tenderloin AZ Prints, by gravity1 on Sept 27, 2013 21:43:49 GMT 1, My framer just started offering an anti-reflective, UV protective plexi which is amazing. Used it on my first pieces last week. Of course it's more than the usual UV protective plexi I use but when they are next to each other the anti-reflective pieces don;t look like they have glass in them at all.

EINE • Tenderloin AZ Prints, by Ruggs on Oct 1, 2013 23:15:32 GMT 1, Another long arduous wait for another print. I'm really hoping this one doesn't turn up beaten up like the last three prints i've ordered this year. You would think that after making £120k in orders they would be able to roll, package them up and mail out within a reasonable timescale. I feel a few artists and galleries are slightly taking the piss out of their customers these days. They seem very efficient at the checkout/payment part of the process but very lackadaisical when it comes to length of time prior to delivery. I work in the publishing industry and I can honestly say that if we treated our customers like this it would not be tolerated for long. Why don't they finish the edition(s) first, package and get them ready for distribution at least a day or two after payment has been made.
