I'm really hoping this one doesn't turn up beaten up like the last three prints i've ordered this year. You would think that after making £120k in orders they would be able to roll, package them up and mail out within a reasonable timescale. I feel a few artists and galleries are slightly taking the piss out of their customers these days. They seem very efficient at the checkout/payment part of the process but very lackadaisical when it comes to length of time prior to delivery. I work in the publishing industry and I can honestly say that if we treated our customers like this it would not be tolerated for long. Why don't they finish the edition(s) first, package and get them ready for distribution at least a day or two after payment has been made.
Absolutely, agree though with your point that galleries seem to be able to play the artistic production card but at the same time are happy to take the cash. Always admire Invader's shop as being one of the few exceptions to this.

I agree too, i expect better from ND, having to wait over a month is not acceptable, and once they have taken your money the communication seems very poor, we should not need to chase them for details!! |

Pretty sure they're not allowed to do that. I asked for an ap in replacement but they said no because of the price difference. They were apologetic so fair enough but not a great situation.

Never ordered directly from nelly duff - do they not order tubing in advance ? Do they send out postal delivery info so people know when they are best staying in & waiting?

On another note, I managed to bag one of the special edition books at the show and was thinking of framing it. It's quite thick so not sure if I'd I'd hang it on the wall or put it on a sideboard/mantelpiece etc?? Any ideas welcome...

Never dealt with Nelly Duff before but had a telephone conversation with Cassius prior to the show and he couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant in his defence. Got my confirmation yesterday and was only sorry I couldn't get to the show.

Yep possibly Coach but after 14 hours at work yesterday I was a bit peeved to have no tracking email (or print) but I received the email this morning.
