If you can afford this you could probably afford the framing. Depends where you go also.

The thing is though that these WILL sell out.

How much is something worth? How much someone is prepared to pay for it.

if he sells out the show that means he priced them right. personally i think the prices are pretty high but more power to him if he can command those prices.

This is the one I've been waiting for. I really hope it happens.

Sorry but people should be disputing comments like this. Just because a select few with money buy on the primary pay these prices and above , this does not mean in the secondary this is the 'going rate'.

This gap in expectations is something anyone investing in Dolk should worry about, there is little to no proof that his prices are increasing to these stated levels at present in the secondary.


One other thing that should concern potential buyers is the output of Dolk, this latest show and I've seen the PDF is not great, of the headline pieces I've struggled to find one of note.

I'm sure there's a good 5 stong network of gallery owners, rich buyers and duped lower level buyers (who've used money they don't intrinsically have to buy inflated canvas prices ) who will dispute this post wholeheartedly . I'd ask anyone new to this and tempted to at least consider my post.

it changes people happy meal. Try speaking to a guy who served in iraq with ingrained image of child tryibg to feed off a womans breast and she so malnurished no milk coming out.
