heard Pobel was ready to take em all but decided last minute to give non Dolk Nutters a chance to buy a spray painted DOLK from source.

Wish people would stop the Banksy comparison though - their images are different - the only similarity is ยฃยฃยฃยฃ's some prints are commanding.
Completely agree that he is now becoming overpriced (especially on secondary market) as is now for the collectors and Dolk nutters so the time for a private show is long overdue. Shame he has lowered himself to rehashing some old images though.

So the people that come to visit the exhibition will feel a connection to these 4 works as they have walked past them many times in the recent years. It's like bringing a small part of the city in to your home.

My friends would say I am a 'Dolk nutter', but I think 'Dolk enthusiast' sums me up best. There are many Dolk prints I don't own, but know they are now priced out of my reach. Would love a Police Line if someone wants to give it a good home for a good price?

I don't think the problem is comparing the two. I think people just get a bit annoyed when certain people come on here who have no interest in Dolks work just to say things like 'Well Banksy is better' but won't bother to give any other comment than that.
It summed it up for me when a recent thread about Dolk descended into silly insults such as 'Comparing Dolk to Banksy is like comparing dog p**s to Champagne'. It was the Banksy fans who came on and started comparing the two in the first place.
Personally I don't always like a lot of the art I see in the forum but I just don't feel the need to tell people this.
Just my humble opinion.

I agree. If I could turn back time I'd buy as many Banksy's on release as I could, store them flat and sell them for obscene amounts of money now.

Just like stencil art is Banksy (or Dolk). I don't see either of them turning out something which would challenge the inherent artist skill of someone like Conor Harrington, as an example.
