Faile Happens Every Day, by Cardiff on Aug 17, 2013 23:11:30 GMT 1, I tried to bump my old sales thread w/a new thread w/a link to the old one, and it got removed (sorry mods, didn't realize I was breaking the rules).
In any case, I've got a lovely Happens Every Day that I've thought was sold a few times (couple genuine deals that didn't come together and a couple time wasters). I would like to clear some wall space and sell or trade this. I paid $5,548 (3,500GBP) five months ago and spent just over $700 on framing (located in SoCal if anyone wants to do a face to face deal and buy it framed). Here's a pic. If you want more detailed images, you can search my recent posts for the thread that's got a bunch of detailed shots.
I will consider cash offers and trades for other interesting Faile, Ian Francis, Choe, Herakut, Micallef, Neate, etc.
Let me know if you're interested?

Faile Happens Every Day, by kunstrasen on Aug 18, 2013 9:36:58 GMT 1, Sorry but no sympathy for selling something stunning like this. 'Clearing some wall space...' is no excuse...maybe a sale of this if lifesaving surgery is needed but for wall space!? There must be something wrong with your eye sight!

'Clearing some wall space...' is no excuse...maybe a sale of this if lifesaving surgery is needed but for wall space!? There must be something wrong with your eye sight! Perhaps a bad choice of words on my part. It's really more about opportunity cost. I live under the iron fist of a "one in, one out" art dictator. I've been presented the opportunity to pick up a few different pieces that I really like (one of which will keep me in the HED owners club), and I would like to pursue one of them if I can move this piece.
Thanks for all the kind comments.

Thanks for all the kind comments. No worries, was just choosing a different approach to express my admiration for this piece. The "one in, one out" rule is a tough one, shame you have to let it go. Have you thought about framing two pieces together in one frame? One front side, one on reverse? I have...
Good luck with the sale...wish I could be the one to buy it.

Faile Happens Every Day, by Cardiff on Aug 20, 2013 14:08:36 GMT 1, Thanks for your kind words of encouragement Mace! If it doesn't sell, it doesn't sell...I don't need the $ for a surgery as mentioned above...just looking to replace w/a new piece.
If I can net out $5K after all the fees/shipping, I'm happy to move it along unframed to a new home.

Pretty iconic Faile might catch a bidding war.

Sorry, mate ! Just noticed everybody loves it but nobody buys. Maybe an auction is really the better option to get your price. All the best with your sale !

Faile Happens Every Day, by Cardiff on Aug 20, 2013 19:14:30 GMT 1, Thanks chaserawr...had that same suggestion from a couple friends. I'm totally unfamiliar with the auction process, and would prefer an easy deal with a forum member, but if something doesn't come together, I may look into it or just stick it on EBay.
