is it typical to find a tile that has a chip in these sets? This is my first kit and any help would be much appreciated. From the IK14's I've seen, minor imperfections are fairly common; that said, I don't know how big a chip you're talking about - can you post a picture? |

So that begs the question, why advertise it as glowing blue when it doesn't? Or are there multiple versions?

First time was with double sided tape, didnt hold! so I went for reversible silicone, it has lasted several years no problem, I hope it is reversible

Not really, I didn't want a bunch of really sticky double-sided tape being exposed and collecting dust/dirt/hair. It's not like you notice the backing plate anyways..

Just remove the backing on the tape and apply the plate to it
