When's the best time to visit London / Europe?, by mmmike on Aug 20, 2013 15:12:48 GMT 1, Hey I want to plan a trip. I get so jealous when I read about all the cool events in London and would like to get a chance to check out some cool art happenings. London would be a must and while in the area I'd like to see other parts of Europe (open to suggestions). Outside of North America I've only ever been to Germany.
When would be the best time for a 2 to 3 week trip to see the most in terms of art shows, festivals, auctions, etc?

When's the best time to visit London / Europe?, by kfroms on Aug 23, 2013 17:13:57 GMT 1, Frieze Week is a good choice - lot's of things happening around it ( PAD on Berkeley Square, Sothebys, Christies and Phillips have their Contemporary Evening and Day Auctions, all Galleries are showing off etc pp ) and overall a nice atmosphere in the city.

When's the best time to visit London / Europe?, by Deleted on Aug 24, 2013 0:13:07 GMT 1, If you're into Dolk his show is opening in Bergen in a weeks time then it's the Stravanger art show on the 6th September. You can fly from UK to Norway for not all that much.

As it happens, I will be flying into London the 24th......a few days too late for either Im afraid.
