Help getting my first Banksy?, by morgan on Sept 2, 2013 3:11:27 GMT 1, So I have never even thought about owning one because the prices are just beyond my means. I missed every POW lottery which was basically my only way. Anyway, do you guys (the Banksy experts!) have any suggestions on how I could aquire one the best way. He really does not have an image I do not like so I guess I am asking what the cheapest Banksy I could score.
And if anyone in the forum wants to hook me up with a good deal on someone that would sleep with this thing under his pillow I would love it! I can maybe spend 1-2k USD tops and I would have to sell a good chunk to even do that. It has always been in the back of my mind but I just never really thought it was feasible...and probably isn't but I am bored on a labor day weekend and thought I would get my thoughts on paper

If you really like Banksy and don't care about provenance than you should look into some of his other artwork that is affordable.

But Applause is one of my favorites. I know it doesn't get much love but I like it. If that price estimate is accurate I'd love to buy one if anyone is selling? |
