I've seen this has been brought up in the past but I thought I'd ask anyway.
Does anyone know if its possible to buy any Murakami direct from source? Do his prints only drop in Japan or is there a UK/US site to get them?
I'd like to get some of his work but I'm not really happy to pay the eBay flipper prices or heavily inflated gallery prices.

Galerie Perrotin used to be an affordable source for Murakami prints but they put up their prices up 50% a year ago...some still slightly cheaper than ebay though I think.

Over the last few months I had sensed the ebay prices on his prints were slowly coming down compared to a few years ago.
I was also informed, when wanting to buy one, to be aware of forgeries too.

Yeah I actually got a PM from someone saying this. You have to pick your prints up in person when they drop!!
