DRAN BITS FOR SALE, by Shoot Again on Sept 3, 2013 20:39:15 GMT 1, Just to stand clear here, I will NOT bid on the "Bastard" Canvas, neither on the "Compagnon" drawing, not because I don't like them but because I'm after my first Banksy original canvas (not much luck with my LF Thread yet...) which requires my full attention ;-) I might just have a cheeky try at the 100 jours drawing, just to keep all of you company ;-)
The seller is a very genuine collector though, I'm sure he would have loved to keep those beauties if he could have, so I can only wish good luck to him and everybody tempted by them...
The "Compagnon" drawing was sold at DRAN's Show in Melbourne so not too many surprises to be expected on what the fair asking price should be (by the owner) ;-) The "Bastard" is a very decent size canvas, haven't seen any other that size coming my way... Smaller ones (from POW) were recently going for ยฃ5.5K to 8K depending on (variable) quality of images (and nature of the sellers) so do your maths wisely ... ;-)

I sent a PM and I think I might have slightly misjudged just how expensive that Bastard canvas is (by a few grand)!!!

I think UAA were offering the canvas earlier in the year too, so some idea on pricing of that for everybody

Can't believe the prices the smaller canvases have been fetching. I remember going to POW and not buying a canvas that was about 1m
X 1m because it was ยฃ4k+ and thinking my good lady would have my nuts for jewellery. As it is I could have been buying her jewellery with the profits.
They're only worth anything if you're prepared to sell them though and my small collection remains firmly on our walls.
Alas I think I am priced out of the market now.
Good luck with the sale and to anyone making a serious bid for any item. With 60 PMs this is proving the sale thread of the year.

Funnily enough i was looking through the pdf of Drans available og's from the POW show the other day, still regret not buying twitter which was my favourite... I always worried about the canvas flaking though and could never bring myself to spend 1500 + vat on it on the off chance it then fell to pieces.... It was still available in may last year, along with other canvases and pieces on card....
Good old Zim, he hooked us up so well with those 100 jours, massive props to him.
