You ever heard..., by love on Sept 18, 2013 13:47:35 GMT 1, Here is the story:
I was offered a older signed banksy print. We are talking about a sale ends. It is numbered 188/300 and is signed. The seller told me that he bought it unsigned and sent it to Lazarides to let the print sign by Banksy. He got no COA from Pest Control, but he told me that he got a reciepe from Lazarides.
I never heard of such a high number nor that Banksy signs prints afterwards. What do you think? Did you ever hear a comperable story about a older prints?

You ever heard..., by dotdot on Sept 18, 2013 14:20:27 GMT 1, interesting story.
300 ?
not sure what the story here is..
"hello mr laz (please refrain from swearing.. to make others think you swear a lot) , i have this print which is no signed.. can you have banksy sign it for me ?"
I'm not sure if the above is possible... now or in the past - but hey .. strange things are known to have happened... So let's wait till the book or the film comes out. ... eh ?

You ever heard..., by Happy Shopper on Sept 18, 2013 14:24:49 GMT 1, Didn't Banksy and Steve stop working together at the point the Lazarides Gallery started? So it seems unlikely Banksy would be doing special favours like signing random prints. Who knows though... could be true, but I'd want a PC COA !

You ever heard..., by loss1emouth on Sept 18, 2013 16:25:32 GMT 1, does not sound right at all, I'm afraid.
Laz gallery was established prior to the 2006 Banksy show in LA, where this print first appeared (if I remember correctly). The collaboration between Laz and Banksy concluded some time after the LA show.
what is the receipt for? the print, or the signature? just doesn't make much sense, there's more to it or I suspect there's nothing to it.
needs COA (or someone from Laz to verify at least).
